Destre Tashjian (she/they) is a New York-based actor, writer, and director.

Destre is a recent graduate of Pace University's BFA in Acting for Film, Television, Voiceovers, and Commercials program with a minor in Creative Writing. 

Recent acting work includes: Julia in The Fellowship (Film, Dir. Jennica Cardona). Now I'm in It (Short, Dir. Isabelle LaBianco). Laurel in Mirror Mirror (Theatre, Pace University).

Recent writing work includes:  Flush (2020) - (2020/Something New Art Festival, 2021 Gerard Cannon Award). A Joint Family (2019) - (Hickory Playground 48-hour Theatre Festival, Audience-voted best play 2019). Bless Our Hive (2021) - (Hickory Playground 48-hour Theatre Festival). So About Last Night (2020) - (Short, Pace Productions)
